According to a report, a rogue Florida cop was fired for soliciting male prostitutes and taking graphic photos while on duty.
A disastrous breakup landed a Palm Beach County sheriff’s deputy in serious trouble. His ex-girlfriend provided the sheriff’s office with a laundry list of allegations, and the sheriff’s office determined that he violated policy upon policy, according to CBS12.
The Internal Affairs investigation report said, “It was alleged Deputy Sheriff Joshua Brack engaged in misconduct and/or committed various crimes while on and off duty.
It was also alleged Deputy Sheriff Brack disseminated agency information by sending a crime scene video to an unauthorized individual, sent nude and explicit photographs of himself to his work email while on duty and in uniform, neglected to respond to an in-progress call for service and possessed unauthorized weapons in his patrol vehicle, amongst other allegations.”
Joshua Brack’s troubles began on June 15, 2021, when his ex-girlfriend called PBSO to report a “civil dispute,” and a sheriff’s deputy went to their Belle Glade apartment.
Brack and his girlfriend had broken up after 2 years. They’d been cohabiting for nine months.
According to the report, the ex-girlfriend “stated her ex-boyfriend’s family members showed up at her residence to retrieve personal items of his, after he already moved out, and collected the remainder of his stuff.”
However, [the ex-girlfriend] decided to volunteer a laundry list of accusations about Brack while cops where on the scene, which led to a thorough investigation.
Investigators later discovered evidence that Brack did have sexual relations with male hookers while being on duty and took graphic photographs of himself while apparently on patrol.
Officials allege that Brack also unlawfully sent his former girlfriend photographs and videos of graphic murder scenes, including one of a man who had been beheaded in a car accident.
Additionally, officials said, the vilified officer seized drugs and other illegal items from perpetrators in order to sell them for personal gain.
Brack also failed to respond to an emergency call in another instance because he was engaged in a private discussion with an unknown man.
After investigators presented him with evidence, the ex-cop admitted to much of the misbehavior and expressed regret for his actions.
Internal affairs officers kept an eye on Brack while he was on duty at one point during the investigation and discovered him regularly making private stops.
The report concluded that none of Brack’s transgressions violated the law or were sufficient grounds for criminal prosecution.
