Whodini Rapper John ‘Ecstasy’ Fletcher Passes Away at 56

John “Ecstasy” Fletcher, was a co-founder of the legendary rap group Whodini, he is known for rockin’ a “Zorro” type hat.

No cause of death has been announced by the family.

John, together with Jalil Hutchins, formed Whodini in Brooklyn back in 1982, before DJ Grandmaster Dee met them in 1986 to create the iconic trio.

According to Douglas Fletcher, John’s brother, his passing was unexpected because he was athletic, healthy, and worked out on a regular.

Douglas also informed TMZ, that his brother was awake Wednesday and speaking and then all of sudden he stopped breathing.
