Woman Charged With Killing Her Husband's Girlfriend in Memphis

Police say a Memphis woman murdered her husband’s girlfriend and is now facing first-degree murder charges, according to WREG.

Pamela Castle, 36, went to the 2600 block of Nightingale Drive on Feb. 13 to confront her husband’s girlfriend, according to a police affidavit. Officers were sent to the scene after the girlfriend called 911.

The shooting victim was found unresponsive with a gunshot wound to her upper body by police. The woman was taken to Regional One Hospital, where she died a short time later.

Derek Castle, Pamela Castle’s husband and the shooting victim’s live-in boyfriend, told police that he heard his wife shouting cuss words at his girlfriend and then heard four shots.

He said he came downstairs and saw his wife drive away through the smashed windows.

Pamela Castle was arrested later that evening in Cobb County, Georgia, after exiting her vehicle while attempting to enter a business. She initially declined to reveal herself to police, but she ultimately confessed.
