According to an arrest statement, a Las Vegas guy met a lady on a dating app and attempted to “rape her at gunpoint” in a car with child locks engaged.

Lavontae Stuckey, 18, is charged with kidnapping in reference to the July 9 incident. On that day, police were called to the Strat Hotel and Casino after receiving a report of a guy attempting to force a lady to have sex.

Officers stated the lady informed them she met the man, subsequently named as Stuckey, on the online dating site Tinder. They stated the lady met Stuckey near Las Vegas and Charleston boulevards and got into his vehicle.

According to investigators, the couple decided to go to the Strat’s garage to “chill and smoke.” The two moved to the backseat of the vehicle when the guy stated he had a pistol.

“When the male was in the back seat with her, he told her that he had a gun and that she will have to perform oral sex on him and also have sex with him without a condom,” police noted in the arrest report. The woman was unable to flee the vehicle because the child locks were activated, preventing the doors from being opened from the inside.

According to authorities, a friend was able to locate the woman in the garage and drive her away. The women were fortunate to capture the man’s license plate, which, according to them, led authorities to Stuckey.

According to authorities, Stuckey’s vehicle was also damaged when he fled the garage after colliding with two other vehicles.

Sunday, an officer apprehended Stuckey during a traffic stop. Officers did not say if a firearm was ever present in the vehicle.

According to the records, the District Attorney’s Office declined to prosecute Stuckey with attempted sexual assault. A court imposed bail at $10,000. As of Wednesday, Stuckey remains at the Clark County Detention Center.
