A lady reportedly arranged to have her husband murdered in exchange for $100 a week for 40 weeks. Claudia Carrion, 44, was detained on Friday in connection with a murder-for-hire plan aimed at her husband, whom she allegedly suspected of cheating on her.
According to a criminal complaint received by WFMZ, Claudia ‘described in detail why she wanted her husband dead’ and paid a $100 deposit fee. She originally promised to pay $4,000 for the service, but at a meet-and-greet, she stated that she was able to properly pay the whole amount. The parties agreed on a repayment plan, and she paid the deposit.
The wife allegedly informed authorities that she provided the deposit with five $20 dollars and that the remainder would be paid in weekly payments. According to Philly Voice, the installments were slated to be $100 apiece.
Claudia’s intentions to kill her husband were revealed to the Allentown Police Department’s Vice Squad by a confidential source, according to LehighValleyLive. On Thursday, an investigator went undercover as a bargain assassin and visited Claudia at her house in Allentown, Pennsylvania, to discuss the arrangement.
Claudia was accused with soliciting criminal murder. She was arrested just after midnight on Friday and is being detained at the Lehigh County Jail on a $500k bail.
