A lady in Florida was arrested after allegedly beating her girlfriend after having heard her “talking in her sleep about an ex.”

According to an arrest record acquired by The Smoking Gun on Tuesday, Alexis Talley, 23, faces an upgraded felony charge, in part because she was previously convicted for assault, which resulted in a no contest plea.

According to the report, the woman, whose name was withheld, was asleep when Talley roused her up and “told her she was talking in her sleep about an ex.”

According to the complaint, the victim stated that the two exchanged words “before Alexis proceeded to punch her in the face.”

According to the report, after being read her miranda rights, Talley admitted to authorities that she and her girlfriend had clashed verbally when she heard her girlfriend “talking in her sleep about an ex,” but that it did not escalate into a physical altercation.

According to the affidavit, Talley claimed the injuries were caused by “a prior disorder” rather than her hitting her partner. According to online records Talley bailed out and was freed from the Pinellas County Jail early Tuesday.
