Woman's Dismembered Body Found in Bag Inside Shopping Cart in East New York (Image: Screenshot/YouTube/CBS New York)

According to investigators, a woman’s dismembered torso was discovered inside a shopping cart on a Brooklyn street early on Thursday.
The torso of the unnamed woman was found inside a huge bag in a shopping cart near the intersection of Pennsylvania Avenue and Atlantic Avenue, according to authorities. Around 1:45 a.m., officers were dispatched to investigate probable recovered body parts.
The woman has yet to be identified by police. Her death will be determined by the Office of the Medical Examiner.
No information regarding a suspect has been published by the NYPD.
