According to his estranged wife, Xzibit is far from the penniless, miserable husband he portrays himself to be.
Xzibit and his soon-to-be ex-wife Krista are getting divorced. Last week, it was reported that the rapper had fallen on difficult times and was unable to pay the spousal support Krista is requesting.
To further complicate matters, Xzibit said Krista was residing in their mansion with her new partner, who was pulling his awards off the walls and filming a pilot for his new tv show within their luxurious estate.
Xzibit also claimed Krista was a con artist who fraudulently signed his name on a paper in order to obtain a new Bentley, which was subsequently repossessed due to the rapper’s inability to keep up with the payments.
Krista has just filed additional paperwork indicating that Xzibit is loaded with cash.
He allegedly generates more than $1 million every month from his multiple cannabis companies.
The artist, however, does not keep the money in his bank accounts. According to Krista, Xzibit has a large fortune in cash stashed away in numerous safes throughout California.
The rapper’s talkative cousin allegedly told Krista that he knows Xzibit has at least $20 million stashed away in various vaults.
And the cousin claims to have firsthand information because he brings Xzibit money on demand.
Krista accuses Xzibit of making false statements in order to avoid having to cut her large spousal support payments every month.
She also claims that she recently lost her job and is unable to support herself and Xzibit’s young son monetarily. Xzibit, according to Krista, is so cheap that he refuses to pay for his son’s inhalers or haircuts.
Earlier this month, it was reported that Xzibit and his business associate Dr. Dre had won a four-year legal battle for their cannabis company, Brass Knuckles.
Two business stakeholders claimed Xzibit and Dre mispriced their shares in the business, which they said were worth $50 million.
According to the lawsuit, Brass Knuckles was actually worth a whopping $170 million.
In February 2021, Krista filed for divorce from Xzibit. According to court documents, the divorce battle is just getting started.
