A 19-year-old man was shot and killed at an Easter gathering in Riverdale, according to Clayton County, Georgia police. Around 12:22 a.m., police were called to the 200 block of Valley Hill Road.

According to WSB-TV, the victim, Reginald Manual, 19, was found badly injured with a gunshot wound in the driveway of the home.

Before he died in the hospital, Manual was able to inform authorities who shot him.

Manual was at an Easter gathering with his girlfriend and her relatives when he and his girlfriend’s mother got into a heated argument, according to investigators.

Manual allegedly wanted to get his child out of the house and walked out after the fight, according to authorities.

The shooter was identified as Jaswan Burroughs, the mother’s boyfriend, who was charged with malice murder, aggravated assault, possession of a firearm while committing a crime, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

The 36-year-old was booked into the Clayton County jail.
