A Florida man appeared in court for the first time after police announced he murdered his wife. They’d only been married for about a year.

According to Altamonte Springs police, the man actually admitted to the murder and provided some troubling details.

He informed investigators that he didn’t stop before killing her because it’s not “how he was raised” and he’s the type of individual who “goes all the way.”

In the alleged death of his wife, Nhu Quynh Pham, Xichen Yang is charged with first-degree premeditated murder and destroying evidence.

According to investigators, his boss called the cops after he failed to show up for work on Tuesday.

He had started telling his boss that he was angry with his wife, had decided to commit an unimaginable act, and was cleaning up the mess.

Officers responded to the couple’s residence on the corner of Ballad Street and Ronald Reagan Boulevard, according to court papers. That’s where they discovered Pham, who had her throat slit.

Yang told cops he murdered her because she burned his passport.

Yang then revealed that he put his wife in the tub and “played her favorite music” and “held her hand” for almost 10 minutes till she passed away, according to police.

We also discovered that Yang had previously been arrested in Orange County assaulting his wife, but the charges were dismissed.

Yang is now being held without bond until his next proceeding in August.

A GoFundMe page has been created to help Pham’s family with funeral expenses and to transport her back to Vietnam to be with the rest of her relatives.
